Project Description

The Liberal Arts Campus (LAC) of Long Beach City College (LBCC) is situated on 112 acres of land in the Lakewood Village section of Long Beach, and is also known as the "main campus". It was established in 1927 and has been in its current location since 1935. Over 50% of LBCC's 32,000 students attend classes at this campus, where the primary focus is academic advancement in a wide range of program areas, including business, health, nursing, communications, liberal arts and English as a Second Language (ESL), one of the school's largest programs.
